GURU TWO (7) is yet to break through in three runs. Finished fourth at his last appearance over 6½f at Seymour on December 19. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. COSMIC CHARGER (6) remains a maiden after three runs. Had plenty of admirers last time but could only manage to finish sixth over 6½f at Wangaratta after he was well back on straightening. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. MAHAM (2) is a three-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 3.5 lengths when fifth over 6½f at Wangaratta. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration. TRIUMPHANT TONIC (4) returned from a lay-off a week-and-a-half ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into fourth over 6f at Wagga Riverside. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
