ATAEGINA (7) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when fourth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 1m at Ararat. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. SLEEPER (5) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Donald, beaten 15 lengths into seventh after being in contention on the corner. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. GREY NORTHERN (8) finished third at Ballarat two runs back but was less effective last time over 7f at Flemington, finishing 6 lengths back in eighth. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. STAR BUYER (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 28 when beaten a long neck into fourth at Benalla over 1m. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role.
