EL FORTRESS (7) finished second, beaten a long neck, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Echuca. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. OLIVIA ROSE (13) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 4 lengths from the winner in fifth at Bendigo over 5½f. Anticipating sharp improvement with the run under the belt. STOLEN ART (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when fifth over 6f at Moonee Valley two weeks ago. Has the class to take this out. MISS LOTTIE (9) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6f at Benalla after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Nicely placed to maintain the form.
