RUNAWAY SOUL (3) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 7f at Bendigo. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Likely to feature. SOME SHEILA (9) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when fifth in a 7f29yards contest at Sale two-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. MERCHELLE (8) finished second at Tatura two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m at Echuca, finishing 12 lengths back in eighth. Has the class to take this out. EPICE DIEU (2) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and kept going to win by one length over 7f at Ballarat. Mickaelle Michel goes well on this three-year-old and is back on top. Deserves respect.
