TURNAQUID (12) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when fifth over 6f at Narrandera two weeks ago. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to turn the recent form around. SMUGGLER'S ANGEL (7) finished out of the money two starts back then she settled well back and was beaten 4.5 lengths when sixth over 4½f at Albury three weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. THE BIG SHAMROCK (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 6f at Ballarat. Finds a suitable assignment and can salute. CAPPER THIRTYNINE (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Bendigo, beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh. Capable of featuring prominently.
