CHRISTMAS STAR (8) returned last time with a solid third at Orange over 5f. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. KOWLOON PRINCESS (10) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished fifth over 6f at Bathurst, beaten 2.5 lengths. Among the leading chances on her best figures. VICIOUS RUMOUR (14) finished second, beaten 1.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Dubbo after she was in the firing line on the corner. Ready to go one better. DIVINE BELLE (5) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 10 lengths into sixth over 6f190yards at Cowra last time out. Can sneak into the finish.
