BLAME THE WHISKEY (4) wasn't far away in his two starts prior to sub-par eighth last time out over 6¾f at this track. Worth another chance. SHILLONG (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Cranbourne, beaten 5 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the bend. This is a nice drop in grade so he is likely to play a big role. OUTWITTED (1) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 6f at Beaudesert. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. A DIME APPROACH (8) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6¾f at this track when he worked home well, beaten 3 lengths. Will benefit from that outing. Likely improver with solid claims.
