IKUMA (7) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to break through. Most recently finished fourth over 6¼f at Newcastle, beaten 3 lengths. Capable enough so worth another chance. DORADUS (1) resumes from a lay-off of six months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 7½f at Newcastle. Opened last prep with a minor placing at this track over 6½f. Should present well following a recent trial win. Has ability and is a leading player. IMPERIAL STATE (4) worked home well and finished third last time over 6f at Kembla Grange, beaten 2.5 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage and can fill another top-three spot.
