UNFLINCHING (8) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second when resuming last time out over 4¾f at Moonee Valley. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. Group 2 winner Set Weights ISS EXILE (7) turned in an eye-catching run over 5½f at Ballarat last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. A repeat of the latest effort will see him in the finish again. Multiple Group 3 winner LIBERTAD (3) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 5½f in the G3 Maurice McCarten Stakes at Rosehill. Will derive great benefit from recent racing. Has the class to take this out. Lay-off. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
