THE THREE HUNDRED (9) is a talented colt who was well held last time out in the tougher Pago Pago Stakes won by Dublin Down over 6f at Rosehill, beaten 8 lengths into ninth. This looks a more suitable assignment. MARAIS (1) was thereabouts last time out when second at Gosford over 5½f, beaten a nose. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Facing a tougher assignment but should be hard to stop. FROEBEL STAR (6) finished 2 lengths from the winner in sixth last time out over 5f in the LR Lonhro Plate at Randwick on February 10. Top-three contender. When resuming over 6f in the g3 pago pago stakes at rosehill, beaten 9 lengths. Fitter and with the blinkers added is sure to be competitive.
