SIR DAVY (4) lifted strongly to score by a nose two runs back at Moonee Valley then finished 12th over 1m in the LR Golden Mile at Bendigo last time in tougher grade. Well-placed to return to winning form. Group 1 placegetter QUEEN AIR (11) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh over 6f at Terang. Stepping up a level this time but with added fitness she is capable of a big performance. FLOSSING (8) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but disappointed last time when out of the placings at Terang over 1m2 3/4f. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. PICAROON (10) never got into the race when 13th last time at Bendigo but drops in weight for this. Blinkers come off. Expected to be competitive.
