Grade 3 winner GRAND PROMENADE (2) is going over the jumps for the first time. Finished 21 lengths away 13th at the latest appearance on the flat over 1m5f at Morphettville. Sure to be well-schooled and is going to be very tough to beat. Grade 2 winner SOUTHERN FRANCE (6) last raced when he was beaten 33 lengths into ninth over 1m4f on the flat at Caulfield two months ago. Tackles the jumps for the first time. Sure to make his presence felt. TARN'S PRINCE (8) is taking on the jumps for a second time after finding one better at his first attempt in a hurdle (2m) at this track two weeks ago, beaten a head. One of the genuine hopes in the race. THE AWESOME SON (9) returned from a 208-day lay-off with a sound sixth in a 1m flat race at Sandown-Lakeside last start. Will come on from that run and is worth considering.
