MOMETZ (8) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 1.3 lengths into third over 7f at Werribee. Bold showing expected with the blinkers added. SMARTSET (10) did little and finished 7 lengths from the winner in eighth over 7f58yards at Kyneton last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Bendigo the run before. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. USIR (11) remains a maiden after three runs. Had plenty of admirers last time but could only manage to finish fourth over 1m2f at this track. Finds the right race and is worth consideration. HE JUST GOES (4) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 5.5 lengths into 11th over 7f at Werribee. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
