ITSUKUSHIMA (14) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1m at Bendigo, beaten only 1.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. EARL OF DEVON (5) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten a neck, over 1m at Sapphire Coast. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish again.
