PISTOL PETE (5) found one better last start in the G3 Merchants at this track over 5¾f. Has a fine winning strike-rate over this journey with three wins from four starts. Takes on much easier opposition this time. Sure to feature. TAXI TO THE MOON (8) has put together back-to-back placings after scoring three back at Turffontein Inside, most recently beaten 4.5 lengths into third over 7f at this track. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. ICE STAR (2) did a great job to score by a neck over this course and distance last time out to continue her outstanding recent form. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. DANTONFROMSANDTON (7) is back from a break of 12 weeks. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when ninth over 7¼f in Group 2 grade at Turffontein Inside. Has a high cruising speed. Can feature in the finish.
