COSMIC QUEEN (8) finished second on debut five months ago, beaten 2 lengths over 5½f at this track, and has not been produced since. Will be better for that race experience and looks well placed to be in the finish again. PRETTY PRECIOUS (7) lines up for the first time since August 17. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 6¼f at Durbanville. One of the genuine hopes in the race. GUN BARREL (6) is a first-starter by Fire Away from Daphne Garland who has in turn produced the winner of a black type. FIZZLY BUBBLY (5) is facing the starter for the first time. By William Longsword and comes from the Paul Matchett stable. Top-three chance.
