Premier's Champion Stakes winner VJ'S ANGEL (11) is a talented galloper with a very good strike rate who finished off last campaign with a win over 1m in the G1 Premier's Champion Stakes at Greyville on July 28. Goes very well when fresh from a lay-off with one wins from two starts so she is expected to go very well. CELTIC RUMOURS (2) last appeared when she finished third over 7f at Turffontein Standside on July 20. Rates highly and should take some beating. Group 2 winner GIMME A SHOT (1) finished fifth two runs back at Turffontein Standside then improved last time out to score by 1.3 lengths over 7¼f at Vaal. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. KEY ELEMENT (7) built on a nice second two starts back at Turffontein Standside with a win as public elect over 1m at this track six weeks ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out.
