KING'S RANSOM (1) last raced when successful by half a length over 7¼f at Vaal 11 weeks ago. Has ability and should be right in the finish. SOUTHERN BLAZE (2) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out to score by 1.2 lengths over 7¼f at Vaal. No reason he cannot salute again. MOONLIGHT TRADER (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5¾f at this track, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GOLDEN PAVILION (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Turffontein Inside, finishing third and only a head from the winner at the end of 7¼f. Looks well placed so expect a bold display.
