OPEN HIGHWAY (6) fought on for third last start over 1m at Vaal, making it two minor placings in a row. Has a high cruising speed. Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. WARHAWK BOMBER (1) has been kept fresh since running below par last time, finishing 12th over 1m at this track. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from five starts and should be hard to stop. MAX THE MAGICIAN (5) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.4 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Vaal. Steps up a level but he is good enough to take this out. BOB'S YOUR UNCLE (7) comes here following a win over 6f at Vaal seven-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Has a win and two placings at this journey from five starts. One of the genuine contenders.
