Nicely drawn so he should be involved in the finish. DECEPTION PASS (1) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of nine weeks, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 7f at Vaal. Good chance to break through. ROLL OF THE DICE (5) is building towards his maiden success, the latest effort a solid second over 7½f at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of running another bold race. MO MENT (7) is yet to break through after five starts. Placed in a then last time out was fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 7½f at this track. Has the pace to take a forward position. Has ability and rates among the chances.
