JOKER MAN (4) is resuming from a lay-off of nine weeks and is looking to add to a sequence of three wins, the most recent over 7¼f at this track. Hard to knock the record of Gavin Lerena when aboard yet to miss the frame including two wins. Well placed and should be in the finish. CAPTAIN OF GRIT (6) is back from a lay-off of five months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 7½f at Vaal. Winning chance while fresh. Group 1 placegetter WE ARE THE LOGANS (2) has not appeared since he finished eighth over 1m at Turffontein Standside on November 17. Can make his presence felt.
