LITTLEMARYSUNSHINE (1) is back at the races for the first time since December 30. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 7½f at this track. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. HEART PEAKS (5) scored at this track last time out with 1.5 lengths in reserve at the end of 1m. Has raced two times at this course and distance and is yet to be beaten. S'manga Khumalo who has two wins when partnering stays on. Should be in the finish. HILLARY STEP (8) was safely held when eighth last time out over 7f at Vaal, beaten 8 lengths. That followed a win at Turffontein Standside at the previous outing. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. ELEMBEE (6) finished third at Turffontein Standside two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m1f at Turffontein Standside, finishing 9 lengths back in seventh. Finds a nice race and can atone.
