ALABAMA SLAMMER (6) has switched yards since finishing fourth three weeks ago over 6f at Mountaineer Park. Well-placed and sure to feature. LUCKY SMILE (3) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 5f at this track, beaten 9 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to take this out. LIE AND DENY (5) was prominent at the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 6f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. NEW EVERY MORNING (1) finished fourth last time out over 6f at this track, beaten 8 lengths. Has a good record at this journey with three wins from 23 starts. One of the genuine contenders.
