SHUDDER (1) finds it hard to win with just one success from 16 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 5½f at this track, beaten 7 lengths. This is a nice drop in grade so he is likely to feature in the finish. JUSTIN AZTECA (4) was in contention all the way and fought on for second last start over 6f at this track (Dirt), making it two minor placings in a row. Nicely placed to find winning ways. COLONEL PUNCH (2) broke his maiden six starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 6 lengths into second over 4½f at this track (Dirt). Should camp just off the leaders. Winning claims on best figures. A LOT OF VERVE (9) is fitter for two runs back from a lay-off, progressing nicely last time to finish third, beaten 4 lengths, at this track (Turf) over 1m. Can measure up.
