AWESOME ROAD (5) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 2.25 lengths over 1m at this track (Dirt). Fitter for that last hitout and looks sure to run well again. Can make it back-to-back wins. BUCK OWENS (3) finds it hard to win with three victories from 32 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 8 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SENSICAL (2) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Ryan Kenney barn. Resumes after finishing 11th at Del Mar (Dirt) at his last run 12 weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but looks well placed. Definite winning chance. HAPPY DANCER (10) has two placings from four outings this prep and last start finished half a length from the winner in second over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Right in this.
