PLATINUM DESTROYER (4) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.75 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m1 1/4f at Kyneton after being in the firing line on the corner. This is a nice drop in grade so he is likely to play a big role. DUNLOE (2) returned from a break of five months with a solid fourth last start at Donald over 6f. Boasts three wins at this distance. One of the main contenders. ADRETT (7) went forward and proved too strong last time, scoring with a head to spare over 6f at Moe. Won't find this as tough. One to consider. MASTER OF CHANT (14) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a 13th over 6f at Bairnsdale. Well placed and can play a prominent role.
