USIR (8) missed the placings on debut two starts back then ran a better race and finished a head away in fourth last time out over 1m at Bairnsdale. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. RULE OF SALEX (4) is a seven-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth at his latest appearance over 1m1/2f at Geelong. Solid top-three chance on his best figures. JUST EXPLOSIVE (2) is fitter for two runs back from a break. Turned in a better effort last time when sixth over 1m at Pakenham. Backmarker who keeps coming. Don't underestimate.
