NOLAN (5) was in the money at first two runs from a break then well supported last time but missed the placings finishing fifth at Mackay. Should be further improved and not beaten far latest. The winkers come off now. Rates strongly and expected to go close. CANNY BE BETTER (1) showed good early speed from the inside draw when resuming last start before finishing third over 5½f at Mackay. Nicely placed to play a major role. MISHANI MAVERICK (2) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by a nose over 5f at this track. Can cross from an awkward gate. In a suitable race and can figure in the finish. CORBUSIER (9) registered a strong win two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when third over 5f at this track, beaten half a length.
