FREDDY BARBAROSSA (4) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten a long neck, over 5f at this track when fresh from a break. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will be tough to stop. THE WALLET (7) lines up for the first time since August 12. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5f at this track. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. TENNAGAIN (11) showed early speed from a good draw when returning from a break last time and battled on to finish fourth, beaten 0.7 lengths, over 5f at this track. Will give backers a sight. MAKANUI (9) did a good job last time, finishing in the money when second over 4¾f at Cairns. Deserves to break through and is among the top-four contenders.
