HEZABUSYBEE (8) finished sixth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at this track, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. MUTAFIQ (5) finished 3.5 lengths away in seventh last time out over 5f at this track after being in contention on the turn three weeks ago as 2/1 favourite. Steps up in distance. Should park just off the speed. Best form puts him right in this. ONCHAO (2) ran below expectations last time at Mackay, finishing seventh and beaten 2.25 lengths starting at 6/1. Hard to beat in this suitable race. TIOGA PASS (6) was in the money two starts back at Rockhampton but was unable to repeat the effort last time when seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths, at Cairns over 6¼f. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
