MARENARO (4) scored last time over 1m at this track, making it two wins from three appearances this time in. Won only start at this longer journey. Shapes as a leading player. LET FLY (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.75 lengths when fourth over 1m1f at Eagle Farm two weeks ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. GOING TO THE SUN (9) got the prize two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when sixth over 1m1f at Gold Coast, beaten 4 lengths. One of the main hopes.
