CLEVER COMBAT (3) wasn't disgraced in city class last time when finishing sixth at Belmont Park. Should enjoy the significant drop in grade. Should be in the finish. ROMMEL'S ANGEL (4) was never in contention when 7 lengths from the winner in tenth over 6f at Bunbury last start, a less impressive effort than her sixth at Northam the run before. Won't find this as tough so she is perfectly placed to score. ENSIGN PULVER (2) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when ninth over 6½f at Northam. Has the ability to take this out. HENRY HAS SPOKEN (5) turned in another moderate effort last start when 8 lengths from the winner in 11th over 6½f at Belmont Park. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
