MAGNIFICENT CARAT (5) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fourth over 5f at Belmont Park after she was in contention on the corner. Will strip fitter and is all set to find winning form. APACHE BLUE (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just three wins from 34 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 6f at Belmont Park, beaten 2.25 lengths. Won't find this as tough so he will be hard to beat. CHER (8) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in tenth over 6f at Belmont Park last start after being in the firing line on the corner, a less impressive effort than her sixth at Belmont Park the run before. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. PRINCE SAIYAN (7) produced a better run last start, beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth over 5½f at Broome. Finds a nice race and can atone.
