EAGLE NEST (6) looks close to a win, the latest effort a strong third, beaten a head, over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Should camp just off the leaders. Will prove tough to beat. COLOR BEARER (1) was beaten just a nose last start when second in a small field over 5½f at this track (Dirt) at the first run of the campaign. Has sound form at this track and distance with a win and four minor placings from six runs. Expected to go very well. ONE STEP ASIDE (4) built on a nice third two starts back at Mahoning Valley (Dirt) with success over 6f at Mahoning Valley (Dirt) eight weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again. FLAG RAISER (7) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Mahoning Valley, beaten 15 lengths into fourth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
