THURSAIN (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Scone, beaten 2.75 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out. THEBES (2) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 6f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Comes down a level this time. Well placed so expecting a strong run. GOLD MELODY (3) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 1.4 lengths from the winner in fourth over 5f at this track. Likely improver who is among the better chances. WEZZA (1) is a eight-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 9 lengths when eighth over 5f at Tamworth. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
