KITSILANO (3) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on September 9 finishing seventh and beaten 3 lengths over 1m1/2f at Grafton. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. KING SOLEIL (4) started favourite last time over 6f at Port Macquarie but found one better, making it two minor placings from three career starts. Form sound without winning and he has solid claims. PRINCE IS GAME (5) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 7½f at Port Macquarie last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Muswellbrook the run before. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. KING CARLOS (2) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 8 lengths away in ninth over 5½f at Armidale. No surprise to see him in the frame.
