BARCELONA EXPRESS (1) tackled a better race last start and finished eighth at Rosehill over 7f, beaten 12 lengths. That effort followed a win at Rosehill two starts back. Looks well placed and is sure to be in the finish. DAMASCUS GATE (2) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when ninth in a 7¼f contest at Muswellbrook eight days ago after being in contention on the corner. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. OTIUM (9) scored in a at this track but was below his best last time when ninth over 6f67yards at this track. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DYECAST MISSILE (6) registered a strong win two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when third over 6½f at Scone, beaten a long neck. Worth another chance.
