IDOL SHOT (10) is a four-start maiden who was in the placings at her last two starts, finishing second at the latest appearance over 7f at Coffs Harbour. Nicely placed and gets her chance. GOLD SOMETHING (1) ran on well to get up for third at big odds at his latest appearance at Grafton over 1m3/4f. Good signs last time and worth consideration. BELLABATOOTA (7) is a 23-start maiden struggling to break through but does look to be edging closer, the latest effort a solid fourth over 7¼f at Kempsey after being in the firing line on the bend. Big chance to shed the maiden tag.
