WEZZA (2) is a maiden galloper resuming. After a lay-off of 11 months. Closed last campaign with a eighth over 6f at Wyong, beaten 8 lengths. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Set to run well. APPARENTLY (8) is returning from a lay-off of eight months. Finished fourth at Muswellbrook over 6f87yards at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Melissa Dennett. Will be fit enough for this following a recent trial win. Leading hope and should be tough to stop. TAKEOVER LAD (3) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 5½f at Armidale after being in the firing line on the turn. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is a major player. BY LINDA (9) ran a bold race over this journey when resuming last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish 2.75 lengths away in third at Quirindi. In the right race and is a winning hope.
