PARKRUN (3) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when sixth at Newcastle over 6¼f, beaten 8 lengths. Anticipating sharp improvement with the run under the belt. GRANDINI (2) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 6½f at Dubbo. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. STORM PARK (4) didn't do a lot on debut two-and-a-half weeks ago, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in sixth over 7f at Mudgee. Open to plenty of improvement. Top-three chance. PREFER THE WINK (13) put the writing on the wall last time when a close second at Moree over 1m. Tricky draw but can feature in the finish.
