JENCHICK BOOM (3) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at Toowoomba over 5½f last time, finishing tenth and beaten 18 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is good enough to play a major role. MAKE IT SO (1) showed good early pace over 5f at Gold Coast last time and kept going to score by 2 lengths. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. KWIK AZ HELL (4) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just two times from 23 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 5f at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Likely contender with strong prospects. VESPER LYND (10) returns from a 42 day break after finishing second at this track last time. Looks to be ticking along well with a recent trial win. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with five placings from eight starts. Must be respected.
