SAFETY ROPE (1) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5f at this track when second, beaten a neck. Tricky draw to overcome but he will prove tough to beat. FACUNDO (7) stepped out on his debut over 6f at Gold Coast two-and-a-half weeks ago and finished fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Likely improver and can get off the mark this time. ROCK THE SUNRISE (9) has not raced since his debut back on September 1 when he finished fourth over 6f at this track. Not to be discounted with the blinkers applied. BEFORE THE THUNDER (3) turned in a better run last start, beaten 1.3 lengths into fifth over 7f at Gatton. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
