DIVAKARA (4) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 7f at this track when coming back from a break. Backmarker who gets home hard. One of the leading chances. TIRITIRI (3) settled well back last time out then found the line strongly to finish 1.5 lengths away in fifth over 7½f at Warwick. Sure to prove tough to stop. WHOMSONEVER (8) was safely held when 11th last time out over 1m1 1/2f at Ballina, beaten 21 lengths. That followed a win at Gold Coast Poly at the previous outing. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. STAR CHANCE (9) has not won for a long while. Last raced on November 9 when beaten 5 lengths into sixth at Toowoomba over 1m1 1/2f after he was well back on straightening. Placed to advantage so expect a bold run.
