TRANSATLANTIC (9) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and finished third, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 6f at Eagle Farm. In the right race and is one of the big hopes. MISS JOELENE (12) was on the speed from the rails draw when resuming last start and battled on well to finish third over 6¾f at Doomben. Ready to go a couple better. OCEAN ZAR (13) was beaten just a nose last start when third in a small field over 7f at Eagle Farm. Will drift back but wind up late. Should be competitive. CASTILLIAN (4) did well to score two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when sixth over 1m at Doomben, beaten 1.75 lengths. Worth another chance.
