ITALIAN RIVIERA (1) resumed over 7f at this track last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by a long neck. Fitter for that last hitout and looks sure to be in the finish again. PROMINENT LAD (2) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 7½f at Eagle Farm. Will drift back but will be getting home hard. PROPOSE (3) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing sixth at Eagle Farm and beaten 5.5 lengths. Will find this easier than last start. Should be involved in the finish. BANKSIA BEACH (4) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished second, beaten half a length, over 1m1f at Eagle Farm. Has the class to figure prominently.
