LUMIERE (2) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Warwick, beaten 2.75 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but with added fitness he is capable of a big performance. HE'S ESSENTIAL (4) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 6¾f at Ipswich. Likely to measure up. GULF OF SAROS (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. CLUEDO (8) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last time over 1m1/4f at Doomben, beaten 4 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Nicely placed to run well again.
