JUNGLE JET (2) is back after a break of five-and-a-half months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 1m2 3/4f at Ipswich. Has trialled well leading into this. Rates on top and is a great chance to break through. PAPAL WARS (6) was thereabouts last time out when second at Doomben over 1m2 1/4f, beaten 0.8 lengths. Hasn't been far away this time in work with three minor placings from six starts. Among the leading chances. PAUL EDWARD (7) improved last start to finish third over 7f at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. TRAPEZE TORQUE (8) produced a better run last start, beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth over 6¾f at Warwick. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
