FITZPATRICK (1) was ridden positively and led throughout to score over 5f at Sunshine Coast Poly last time. Should be prominent again and best form puts him right in this. RHUMB LINE (3) started at 6/4 last time on the back of a win at Ipswich two starts ago but was below his best, finishing tenth over 5f at Toowoomba after being in the firing line on the corner. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. PETTICOAT (7) was well in commission last start over 5f at Murwillumbah when second, beaten 3.5 lengths. Will find this a little tougher but shapes as one to consider. JULIETA (5) pushed forward and was a determined winner by one length over 6f at Gold Coast Poly last time out. Can sneak into the finish again.
