PUNGO (10) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 7½f at Mornington. Has switched to the Adam Campton yard. One of the genuine hopes in the race. BLUESTONE LANE (8) was in the money two starts back at Moonee Valley but couldn't back it up last time when seventh, beaten 5 lengths, at Sandown-Lakeside over 6f after being in the firing line on the bend. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. DIVINE OKAY (4) finished fourth two runs back at Rockhampton then improved last time out to score by 2 lengths as favourite over 5½f at Rockhampton. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he can go back-to-back. SURFERS ROYALE (14) is returning from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Finished fourth at Gosford over 6f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Billy Healey. Placed in a recent trial.
