GEMELON BOLT (4) switches to synthetic for the first time. Finished 2.5 lengths back in seventh on turf over 5f at Eagle Farm most recently. Capable of a big run. MAXIMUM OUTPUT (3) finished sixth when resuming at Sunshine Coast two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5f at Eagle Farm, beaten 2 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is sure to prove hard to beat. HODGSON (8) has been mixing his form recently including last time out when he was well held over 5½f at Gold Coast. Better than last start and can run a bold race. KAVAK (2) was safely held in tougher company two runs back then appreciated the drop in grade last time and scored over 5½f at Ipswich. Solid top-three prospects.
